A new survey by the National Retail Federation reveals that Americans will spend $5.9 billion on St. Patty’s Day this year. That’s up from $5.3 billion last year. Other findings:
– 149 million Americans will celebrate St Patty’s Day this year. That’s up from 139 million last year
– the average person will spend $39.65 on St Patrick’s Day
– 41% of people plan to buy drinks on St Pattys Day
– 31% of people plan to buy clothes on St Patty’s Day
