Sure, they kind of sounded like them, but Oasis’ Noel Gallagher said the comparison of the band to The Beatles was “embarrassing.”
“When Oasis started, we were so big we were compared to size-wise and musically, embarrassingly, compared to them as well,” Gallagher explained at a preview screening of the upcoming ‘The Beatles: Get Back’ documentary.
Gallagher added his reasoning as “because we weren’t as good as them.” ‘The Beatles: Get Back’ will run on Disney+ starting on Thanksgiving day.
