Rod Stewart Seen Filling Potholes Outside Home

Despite being an internationally-known rock star who’s been knighted by the queen, Rod Stewart clearly isn’t above rolling up his sleeves and putting in a hard day’s work — at least when he has the right motivation. In this case, the hard work was filling in potholes on the street outside his home in Essex County, England; the motivation was protecting his Ferrari. “People are bashing their cars up,” the 77-year-old rocker says. “The other day, there was an ambulance with a burst tire. My Ferrari can’t go through here at all. So me and the boys thought we’d come do it ourselves.”

In a video posted to social media, Stewart can be seen in a tracksuit with a fluorescent safety vest and green sneakers, shoveling gravel from the back of a truck.

In a caption accompanying the video, Stewart writes, “Working for a living. Filling holes is good for the soul!”

Which rockers would you never see doing blue collar work?
