A new documentary on the life of Ronnie James Dio will be released later this year.
According to his widow and longtime manager Wendy Dio, the doc goes farther than the recently-published Dio autobiography, covering “all the way through his life till the end.” The film includes vintage Dio footage and interviews with celebs like Jack Black, Rob Halford, and Lita Ford.
No official title or release date has been announced. Dio died in May of 2010 at the age of 67 after a battle with stomach cancer.
