Sunshine will soon be fading to snow here in Utah, but that doesn’t stop festivities from happening all along the Wasatch Front! Here are a few fun things going on this weekend that are sure to be a blast! Check it out!

Saturday September 19th: 

Eat Local Week Finale- This entire week has been an Eat Local event and Saturday is the big finale! Every year at harvest season, Eat Local Week is set up to support local agriculture and food artisans while also promoting healthy eating choices. Taking place at the Harmon’s City Creek. there will a roof top party from 6pm-9pm where you can sample local beers, cheeses, wine, salts, treats and SO much more! The event is free and food starts at only $5!

DogFest Walk n’ Roll- All you need is a leash, your furry friends, and a big heart. This charity/donation event raises money to provide training to service animals for people with disabilities! Registration for the walk is free, but donations are appreciated! After the walk there will be lots of vendors, exhibitors, and PUPPIES!

Sunday September 20th:

Dine O’ Round- 50 participating downtown restaurants will have special menus and pricing for foodies to “dig-in” to new restaurants! There are no coupons or filling out paperwork either! Just ask your server for the Dine O’ Round menu! Lunch prices start at $5 and dinner starts at $15! Don’t miss out!

Blues, Brews, and BBQ Summer Concert Series- There are only two Sundays left to get out, sit around, drink beer, and listen to great music at Snowbasin resort! Live music starts at 12:30 and goes until 5:30! Have kids? Check out the next event below!

Kid’s Adventure Tours: While you’re enjoying a drink and music, let your kids have an adventure of a lifetime! A tour guide will teach your kids about exploring Snowbasin with topics like Animal Signs, Finding your way in the wild, and more! For only $25, kids ages 7-12 can get out and explore, get snacks and  lift ticket! CLOSED-TOE SHOES AND WATER ARE REQUIRED!

Frightmares- It’s that time again when Lagoon turns into a haunted amusement park. There is so much to do! Haunted houses, spooky decorations, the Hack n’ Slash dancers, creatures roaming the park and more! Get your tickets for the frightening fun before they close for the season!
