Sleepless nights are common, even for sleep doctors.
According to a survey, 68% of Americans have at least one sleepless night per week.
So, what do sleep doctors do to snooze? Their tricks include listening to soothing music, not looking at their phones or their clocks, going to a different part of the house to read something boring, taking a small dose of melatonin, exercising during the day, focusing on resting rather than sleeping and avoiding sugar and caffeine later in the day.
If these tricks are good for the sleep doctors, they could be good for us as well.
