Your Complete Guide To Fourth Of July Parades & Fireworks Along The Wasatch Front.  Or, as The Todd likes to call it, “everywhere that things go BOOM.” If there’s an explosion to be seen, that man wants to be in the middle of it.

Friday, July 3rd:

 Davis County:

Centerville City: the Kid’s Parade starts at 6:30pm on 160 South and 200 East, following with kid’s games, bounce houses and the fireworks at 9:45pm at Founder’s Park. (Centerville does have another parade on Saturday at 9am on Main Street.)

West Bountiful: holds a Safety Fair at City Park, and fireworks follow at 10pm. (There is a parade on Saturday at 10:30am at City Park as well.)

North Salt Lake: holds their celebration at the Eaglewood Golf Course–the event opens at 6pm with fireworks at 10pm.

Summit County:

 The Canyons hold their fireworks event at the resort, starting with a concert from the Soulistics, then fireworks at 10pm.

Cache County:

Logan’s Freedom Fire Festival:  USU Maverick Stadium, doors open at 7pm with Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband, and fireworks at dusk with a laser show.  $$

Saturday, July 4th:

Salt Lake County:

Salt Lake City: Jordan Park keeps up the city’s fireworks tradition at 10pm at 1060 South and 90 West, SLC.

Sugarhouse Park: UPDATE: the fireworks are back on, thanks to a contribution from Apollo Burger, and there’s an Arts Festival and Pet Parade as well. Your updated info is here.

South Salt Lake: is holding a parade at 2280 South and 300 East and 9:30am, but it doesn’t look like the city is presenting fireworks this year.

Liberty Days at This Is The Place State Park: Old-fashioned fun with watermelon eating, crafts and the candy cannon. (Editor’s note: I saw this disaster coming from a mile away, parents clustering their kids right up to the cannon. Unless you want countless “fun size” candy-shaped bruises on your kiddo’s legs, I’d pull back a little.)

Sandy City – Parade at 6pm and Fireworks Sky Concert at 10pm. There’s music, kid’s activities and a 5K during the day on the Southtowne Promenade at 10000 South and 172 West.

Magna: Parade at noon on Magna’s Main Street, along with a festival through the afternoon and the fireworks show at 10pm at Magna Copper Park.

Riverton City: Town Days start at the Riverton City Park at 6am, with events all day until the fireworks at 10pm. (There’s a parade on Friday July 3 at 6:30pm in the park.)

Millcreek: holds their celebration at Evergreen Park–no fireworks this year, but there’s a parade at 9am and flag ceremony.

Murray City: the parade begins at Fashion Place Mall at 8:30am and ends at Murray Park. There’s free kid’s activities all day, and the fireworks show at 10pm.

Summit County:

Park City: starts with a pancake breakfast at 7am at the City Park, along with a Fun Run and festivities throughout the day. The Famous Fourth Of July Parade kicks off at 11am down Main Street, then the fireworks at dusk, shot off from the Park City Mountain Resort.

Davis County:

Clearfield City Hometown Celebration: the parade starts at 9:30am at City Hall. The festivities continue at Fisher Park with the fireworks at 10pm, and a showing of “Jurassic Park” afterwards.

West Point: fireworks at Loy Blake Park at dusk.

Layton’s Liberty Days: start at the Ed Kenley Ampitheatre with the parade at 10:30am, there’s dutch oven cooking, music, kid’s games and more throughout the day until the fireworks at 10pm.

Kaysville City: kicks off with a parade at 11am, starting at 5th East to Main Street–they have a water parade that follows! Family fun with bounce houses, etc at 550 South Main, then fireworks at Davis High School at 10pm.

Weber County:

Riverdale Old Glory Days: the Children’s Parade starts at 7th West and 4400 South at 9am, and the Big Kids Parade follows at 9:30am. After festivities all day, the fireworks begin at dusk.

Ogden’s Hot Rockin’ Fourth: at the Ogden Pioneer Stadium. Doors open at 1pm with family activities, kid’s rides and a car show. The fireworks begin at dusk.   $$

Utah County:

Thanksgiving Point: the gates to Electric Park open at 6pm, there’s food and game vendors, then the fireworks kick off at 10pm. Admission is free.

Provo: Stadium of Fire – Journey’s playing and the fireworks take over at 10pm. The Grand Parade begins at University Ave and Center Street at 9am.   $$

Grand County:

Moab: The Alpine to Slickrock 50 Mile race has to be the most insane one EVER for a hot summer day. Then cool off with fireworks at dusk, promised to be visible all over town.

Washington County:

St. George: Vernon Worthen Park holds all the festivities, the parade starts at 8am, and the day’s filled with everything from watermelon seed spitting to kid’s activities. The fireworks show is supposed to be St. George’s largest ever – starting at 10pm.
