For the first time ever, a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has been chosen to serve as the Grand Marshal for this year’s Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Parade.
Alice Cooper and nine Fiesta Bowl Founders will share the honor when the Parade steps off on Saturday, December 18 in Phoenix, Arizona.
The theme of the parade is: “Gold Standard: A Commitment To CommUNITY.”
Cooper says he hasn’t heard about the design of the float he’ll be riding on yet, but joked: “It might be funny to have an Alice Cooper-themed float. Giant guillotine. And flowers.”
