Jon Bon Jovi is the latest star to show support for Ukraine. The Bongiovi family has donated $500 thousand dollars to help feed Ukrainian refugees. The donation comes as part of an effort by New Jersey Governor Phil to raise $2 million dollars for refugees. Since Bon Jovi currently lives in New Jersey, it made perfect sense for him to donate to this important cause.
Charity is nothing new to Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea. They opened Soul Kitchen to help feed people in need and raise funds for food insecurity. They created the Jon Bon Jovi Foundation to help fund the JBJ Soul Kitchen, a series of non-profit community restaurants that serve “paying and in-need customers.” (Source)
