Is Metallica Jealous of Rihanna?
Metallica is bummed out they weren’t part of Rihanna’s Super Bowl halftime show. So in honor of RiRi’s big moment, the band tweeted a video of their Carpool Karaoke segment, where they belted out Rihanna’s “Diamonds” with host Billy Eichner.
They wrote, “We can’t believe @Rihanna didn’t ask us to be her backup singers.” Metallica did get their Super Bowl moment – their single “Lux Aeterna” was used in Fox’s promo for the Daytona 500. Should Metallica play the Super Bowl halftime show? What songs would be part of the set?
