Supergroup 3rd Secret Unveils Fresh Sonic Treat
A titan collective has gifted a fresh melody. The ensemble known as 3rd Secret, a fusion of talent from Soundgarden’s lead guitarist Kim Thayil, Nirvana’s bass virtuoso Krist Novoselic, and the rhythmic powerhouse Matt Cameron from Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, has just unveiled a brand-new video for their track, “State of Mind.”
A New Chapter in Rock History
“State of Mind” is the inaugural single from the band’s sophomore album, The 2nd 3rd Secret. This album follows their eponymous debut, which hit the airwaves in April of the previous year. The collaboration between Cameron and Thayil on this album marked their first full-length project since the unfortunate passing of vocalist Chris Cornell in 2017. Listen below:
