5 Fun Things to Do This Weekend

Spring is finally here so get out and do something fun this weekend! If you need help you can check out this list of 6 fun things to do this weekend (April 15 – 17):

1. Real Salt Lake vs. Vancouver Whitecaps

If you’ve never been to an RSL game then you are missing out. The stadium atmosphere is something out of a movie especially when 20,000+ fans sing the fan-written “Believe” chant together.

This weekend’s match is Saturday, April 16th at 8:00 PM. Tickets start at just $25 and can be purchased at the Rio Tinto Stadium Box Office or right here.

2. Real Monarchs vs. Arizona United

Utah’s other professional soccer team is facing its closest rival Arizona United. These two teams share the same recruiting pool and its players know each other extremely well making this match the soccer equivalent to the Holy War.

Although their games are normally played at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, this weekend they are “on tour” hosting Arizona at Clyde Field at Utah Valley University on Friday, April 15th at 7:00 PM. So if are looking to double dip with soccer this weekend and willing to take a trip to Utah Valley get tickets to Real Monarchs’ game here.

3. Rain – A tribute to the Beatles: Kingsbury Hall

Rain – A Tribute to the Beatles is a multi-media spectacular that takes you on a musical journey through the life and times of the worlds most celebrated band. Featuring all the hits you love such as I Want To Hold Your Hand, Hard Day’s Night, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Let It Be, Come Together, Hey Jude and more.

RAIN delivers the Beatles experience in a stunning live concert setting unlike anything else. With 9 new songs, including crowd favorites She Loves You and Here Comes the Sun, RAIN takes you back in time with the legendary foursome delivering a note-for-note theatrical event that is the next best thing to the Beatles. 4. LEGO Club/Competition: Park City

For those of you who have kids or are still kids at heart, Park City Library is having a LEGO Club and Competition. Come check out all their different Lego sets! They have Duplos for smaller friends, IKOS for master builders and of course, LEGOs for all!

The LEGO club begins at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 15th and the LEGO Competition begins at 3pm. They want to see original creations that you have made with your LEGOs at home. There will be prizes for the best creations in different age groups. You can check it out at the Park City Library (1255 Park Ave Park City, UT Directions).

5. Wasatch Front Farmers’ Market: Wheeler Farm

Wheeler Farm’s Farmers’ Market is the perfect Sunday activity. Come on out and support our local vendors and enjoy the park and farm. This Sunday is the last Sunday before they close and prep for the Summer Farmers’ Market so make sure you get out and enjoy the sun (Kids and Pets are welcome too!)

The Farmers Market is open from 10 AM – 2 PM on Sunday, April 17th and is located at 6351 South 900 East in Murray.
